Summary

Another iconic project for MEP Resourcing, this development was within the grade listed former fire station in Southwark. The scheme was to develop a school for 900 students and 205 high-end luxury apartments.

Challenges

Engaged by the principle M&E contractor on-site, they requested a team of approx. 20 electrical personnel to carry out first and second fix installs on the accommodation and approx. another 30 personnel to assist within the apartment communal areas and the school. London projects have been very busy, and the challenges of sourcing labour have been felt by all due to low availability.

Results

MEP Resourcing sourced the relevant workers and provided over 50 personnel for this project. Works have been done on a price work basis, in addition to temporary workers being supplied on an hourly rate basis.
