Summary

Vision House is a 232-bedroom student accommodation scheme located in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Challenges

We were engaged by the M&E contractor to supply a supervision team and a team of Plumbers and Electricians to deliver the project on a fixed price basis. Unfortunately, during the construction, the main contractor suffered financial difficulty resulting in them falling into administration.

Results

We managed to retain the project team during this difficult period and delivered the job successfully and within budget for the M&E contractor. As a business, we were also able to mitigate any financial losses as a result of how we handled the unfortunate situation with the main developer.
