We are seeking a skilled and reliable multi skilled operatives to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance skills and be able to perform various repair and improvement tasks in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on buildings and facilities.
• Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Assemble furniture and fixtures as required.
• Paint, patch, and repair walls and ceilings.
• Install shelves, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and methods.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
PPE REQUIRED:
– Hard hat with Chin strap
– Safety boots
– High viz
– cut 5 gloves
– safety glasses
Own tools are required too.
