Summary

This was one of the major projects we have been involved with to date. The scheme was a 1,030-bed student accommodation located in Aston, Birmingham, developed by McAleer & Rushe. The accommodation was a 24-storey development.

Challenges

Assigned by the M&E contractor, they required MEP Resourcing to provide a full temporary project team. This equated to approx. 30 personnel at any one time. This project was running when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. As such, we had to supply workers on a 24-hour basis due to social distancing rules and requirements.

Results

During the course of the project lifespan, we supplied over 50 Operatives. This ensured that the project did not suffer any delays and was delivered on time.
