Summary

This was a 460-bed student accommodation scheme located in the heart of Loughborough. The main builder was McAleer & Rushe.

Challenges

We were requested to provide a full site team to deliver this on a price work basis. This consisted of 18 Operatives, 2 Labourers, and a Project Manager. The project was undertaken during the pandemic and there were challenges with materials being procured. This made it difficult to keep the supplied Operatives on-site working on price.

Results

The project was delivered within the accepted timescales, despite the challenges thrown up by the Covid-19 pandemic.
